All who have ever been to cedar point in Ohio.?

Hi. so i am going on a vacation to cedar point in Sandusky, Ohio. it is a very awesome amusement park/water park and i am super excited to go! whilst reading the parks rules i noticed one that puzzled me. the rule stated that all electronic devices needed to be in a zippered pocket or pouch (meaning a fanny pack). well i would definitely need my cell phone to contact my parents my friend and I went off on our own however, i don't have any pants with zippered pockets and i really don't want to wear a fanny pack. so i thought... MESSENGER BAG! it has a zipper and is close to you. perfect... except i don't know if they are allowed. so here's where you cedar point experts come in, am i allowed to carry a messenger bag into cedar point instead of a fanny pack? PLEASE ANSWER i'm leaving tomorrow. Thank you!
