Who's a good singer jazz or soul(Guys)?

Anyone knows a good singer(someone I can sing songs to, lol), jazz , soul, funk, any guy singers from the old days with a good upper scale, I have moderate low tone of voice when i speak but when i sing it's totally different lol. Upper scale more comfortable and preferable.
