WHY did my crush walk away LAUGHING when i REJECTED him?

I am going on experience as a guy here. If I'm getting enough balls to ask a woman out in front of my friends and her friends and she rejects me, I have to ACT like it doesnt bother me. The smile was probably forced. The poor guy probably stared the whole semester and then got the guts to approach you and you practically kick him in the balls. SO the smile and laugh was forced because his friends were there. Inside he probably felt like a piece of garbage thrown into a dumpster. You have to understand the pride factor in guys especially around their friends. If they run away crying after being rejected, their friends arent as understanding as the female friends.
